Product Summary

OrgLens uses a combination of Social Psychology and Network Science to drive Productivity, Engagement, Inclusion and Cultural Alignment.

PRODUCT DETAILS

OrgLens solves Organizational and Social pain points using a combination of Social Psychology, Network Science and Data Science. Social Psychology is the scientific study of how the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of individuals are influenced by the actual, imagined, and implied presence of others. Social Network Theory is the study of how people, organizations or groups interact with others inside their network. If we combine this Big Data analytics, Graph Theory and Sentiment Analysis - we have a powerful tool to solve Social and Organisational challenges.

OrgLens combines Active ONA (based on survey-based data collection) and Passive ONA (based on conversational data from Email and Enterprise Social Networks), along with Social Listening in its analytics Software-as-a-Service platform to generate actionable insights which the conventional survey-based methods (Active ONA only) fails to uncover.

The uniqueness of our product in the Integrated ONA we deliver by combining the precision of Active ONA data sources with the massive data from Passive ONA data sources. There are 2 reasons for an Integrated ONA approach ->> 1) Active ONA, while being precise, have limited data volumes since surveys cannot be administered too often and are biased. 2) Passive ONA, while generating a lot of data, have limited precision since it is difficult to infer context.

The idea is to enable leaders with precise inputs coming from Active ONA while enabling them to track these inputs in real-time using Passive ONA. This way we combine the positive elements of Active and Passive ONA into one service offering. More importantly – organization can use Integrated ONA to create targeted actionable insights. For Example – Active ONA surveys can help answer specific questions like “Which 5 employees play the biggest role in providing mentorship?”. Once these 5 employees are identified, using Passive ONA, they can be tracked in almost-real time using their activity on Emails or the Enterprise Social Network. This tracking of data on an almost-real time basis means we are able to conduct Time Series analysis of ONA and generate really nuanced inputs around spikes or dips in data. The ability to drill down to a specific date also means we enable leaders to zoom-in on any event and analyze its impact on the Social Graph or the sentiment of the organization.

This approach can be used to generate analytics for Employee Engagement (like Tracking Disengaged Employees / Identifying HiPotential Employees / Measuring Sentiment Levels), Team Effectiveness (like Quantifying Collaboration Levels / Tracking Innovation Levels / ) and Culture Alignment (like Tracking employee response to each Culture Pillar / Tracking employee response to key communication campaigns).

In addition to these insights, we also have a constantly evolving Machine Learning layer that tries to give predictive inputs. For Example – Based on the Social Graph of the organization, we predict which employees need to connect more effectively to ensure a significant increase in overall collaboration levels.

To summarize - the key value proposition of the OrgLens is to “Reveal the Real Networks” in an organization and use that information to generate actionable insights for enhancing Employee Engagement and driving Operational Excellence.

It's a great tool in helping organisations understand the power of the informal structure. For us it measures the social capital of leaders, ranks their influence, in the organisation by studying the patterns of communications and positions of people within the network of the organisational relationships. The study goes behind and in-between the formal structures to perform an ultrasound of the social interactions in organisations to understand how employees REALLY work together to share information, ideate, build trust, make decisions and solve problems. The great benefit of this study was the different cuts in which the data was presented only from a list of seven questions! Excellent insight team! Keep up the good work. The OrgLens Network study helped us better understand the dynamics among the leaders in our client organisations. It equipped us with quality insights to advise our clients more effectively. The report provided a range of insights on informal networks, influencers, blockers and how networks may be used to make the organization more effective. The ability to analyse the data along a range of variables added a lot of flexibility and made it relevant for diverse client situations. We have worked with OrgLens for client team sizes ranging from 20 to 200 executives and were impressed with the depth of insights in all instances. We look forward to continuing our association.
